Happy �� Mother's Day Friend! We received a request this week for 1,000 First Nations New Testaments to go to Nova Scotia for distribution by a group of passionate Jesus lovers led by Ron Henshaw. Ken Reports: I shared with Mel and his friend and Mel received the Lord and the First Nations New Testament that I offered to him! I placed Bibles in The LightHouse Mission and Salvation Army. Canadian LifeLight Bibles are also being used at 188 Princess, started by Eastview Church and at the indigenous Family Center, Elizabeth Fry Society, and the Bear Clan Outreach centers. The Scriptures we have shipped so far this year are valued at more than $45,000! We need your help to replenish our Scripture fund! Jesus said, "GO into all the world and share the good news!" Mark 16:15 There is still much more work to be done! Friend Easter 🙏 GREETINGS!

Christ is Risen! He is Risen Indeed! Easter is all about the finished work of our Lord Jesus on the cross for EVERYONE! Friend, BE ENCOURAGED! You made a difference! YOU have been an inspiration to me as I've talked and listened to you, prayed with you, and seen you love, serve, give and pray for LifeLight Ministries. So far this year we have shipped 5,460 Scriptures at a cost of more than $30,000. We need your help to replenish our Scripture fund! Jesus said, "GO into all the world and share the good news!" Mark 16:15 What a joy and privilege it is to share the good news! That's what LifeLight Ministries (BiblesForToday.com) is all about! You might be very familiar with the following story but our prayer is that it will inspire you to do what you can to share the gospel, either by giving financially, by giving away Scriptures as the Spirit leads, or by praying for the work of LifeLight Ministries. We must ALL do what we can to fulfill the mandate Jesus left us with! A young girl was walking along a beach where thousands of starfish had been washed up after a terrible storm. One by one she came to each starfish, picked it up and threw it back into the ocean. People watched her and thought she was crazy! After observing her for a while, a man approached her and said, "Why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can't save all these starfish. You can't possibly make a difference!" The girl seemed sad, suddenly uninspired. But after a few moments, she bent down, picked up another starfish, and hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, "Well, I made a difference for that ONE!" The old man looked at the girl with curiosity and thought about what she had said and done. Inspired, he joined the little girl and soon others started throwing starfish into the sea as well! Before long, ALL the starfish were saved! With your support we were able to deliver 180 FNLL to Jim Anderson for distribution at  the memorial service for his dear wife Linda. We recently shipped 250 Jesus? Who Is He? Condensed Bibles to Randy for the missionaries in the Philippines to use as textbooks in Teaching English as a Second Language. This would not have been possible without your support, Friend. Memo from Randy: Thank you brother. We are definitely planning to put them to good use. The need is great. We are taking several boxes with us to the Philippines. The rest will be shipped later. We'll take some pictures to send to you and your sponsors. The impact you've made through your generosity is seen in the following story. I hope you'll take a minute to read it. "This Bible stands as a witness for Jesus" says Marty Mclean as he enthusiastically shared a radical testimony of how Jesus saved a personal friend of his last month.   Marty had been praying and believing for a long time that one of his friends would receive Christ.  Does it sometimes seem like there are no answers to your prayers?  Galatians 6:9-10 says: "Let us not become tired of doing good. At the right time we will gather a crop if we don't give up. So when we can do good to everyone, let us do it. Let's try even harder to do good to the family of believers." The good news is that Marty didn't give up!  He kept on praying and believing his friend would receive Christ and find freedom.   Then one day through a turn of events that only the Holy Spirit could arrange, Marty's friend knocked on his door. With tears in his eyes he said that he now realizes that he needs Christ.  Next they both knelt and prayed the salvation prayer.  Hallelujah!  What a joy!    Marty was able to gift him with a LifeLight Bible!
